- To download a youtube video, don't bother with the GUIs and online downloaders, they are full of spam.
Just use a free command line downloader. Get yourself a copy of yt-dlp.exe and from command line run:
yt-dlp.exe -f best https://youtube.com/watch?v=XYZ
If you have some weird stream that is only downloading a minute or so, then get yourself ytarchive.exe instead and run:ytarchive.exe "https://youtube.com/watch?v=XYZ" best --merge --wait
